I've taken to short skirts and boots. I like the way I feel sexy when I wear them. I like the way my legs look. I like the way eyes follow me.

All of this amazes me, because I've never felt sexy in my life. I shook off compliments. I never believed the words. I felt self conscious in anything revealing.

Now I use my own body as a basis for my figure series. I have a photograph of myself naked in the sunset light, on top of a mountain, and all of my friends have seen it. (you may as well, too...)

I'm slowly beginning to love my body.

If only I could learn to love myself.
