Before I forget, I have to write this work incident down. Patients range from the serious to the absurd - tonight it was a brain tumour till an erection that was "uncontrollable" (!) The father of a 2 1/2 year old came to triage, saying his son had been vomiting for a few days, and now had an "impressive aurora borealis " WTF?! Who names their erections something they can barely pronounce?! And what does he mean by "uncontrollable"? I mean, is it disturbing others? Is it wrecking the peace by poking out people's eyes? These will all one day make it to my book.
