In this week, I:

Officially finished my year of being a 'graduate nurse'. I slept through the graduation ceremony and arrived in time to have a lemonade at the drinks and nibblies after party.

Finished full time work for TWO WHOLE YEARS. I'm now only doing 5 shifts a fortnight, plus extras.

Sent in all my paperwork for my art course. I now have a student number, and nearly a timetable - I'm officially an art student.

Got my open licence...Can't believe it was three years ago since I took my first drive on my own.

Turned a nightie into a cool top. It's purple and satin and I added lace around the neck and hem and a single bead up the top. It is an awesome top. And I made it!

Taught a doctor how to put on a cast. And put in an IV. Oh, and told them how much medication they needed to give a child. Oh yeah, and took over a phone call to a parent when another doctor was failing miserably.... It's just SUCH a blast, having brand new doctors running the emergency department. *snort*.

Walked around my old high school, and sat at our 'lunch' table, overwhelmed at the familiarity of it all. Realising it was five years ago.

Not much else, though. That was pretty much my week.
